The Optical Document Security conference, from 29 to 31 January in San Francisco (USA), presents the latest developments in the field of document security, brand protection and banknote printing. Anti-counterfeiting techniques, inks, substrates, materials, authentication devices, printing processes and technologies will be among the topics discussed.
Annalisa Colombo, Matteo Galligani and Giulio Rocco from Eptainks will present a paper entitled "Selected Photoactive Compounds (PAC) from Microelectronics for Security Documents", dedicated to a new embossable photosensitive ink for rotogravure printing, able to guarantee high security features by means of images with definitions of about one hundred microns.
